Greetings, fellow humans. I have once again updated this little mod of mine. With this, the mod is pretty much complete. I hope you enjoy it! UPDATE: completed as of 20/5/2017 This is a work in progress, where I'll edit this post as I make more stuff. Please wait warmly until it is ready... Character changes: ==Freeze Update== Freeze is now 30% more cool. The increase in coolness is just to bring up awareness on the importance of water. (Ice is water in solid form.) Ice Punch may now be used while downed. You may begin casting icicle in midair after a jump or backflip, and it will continue when you land. Animation of summon sword has been updated. ==Henry Update== A new "Focus System" has been added. Standing still for a moment will cause Henry to enter into a 'focused' state, improving some of his skills. The following skills will be affected: Dragon Palm: Damage +10%, Knockback +100% Critical Shot: Damage +10%, Projectile Speed +50% Multiple Shot: Shots Fired +2 Sonata of the Death: Range gradually increases. ==Firen Update== Changed Firen's previously lame DvA move to a new, slightly less lame one: Fan Fire (25% MP) Input method: D + v + A Fires multiple fire balls which split into even more fire balls. During Inferno, Firen may now press 'A' to finish off with a longer ranged flame. (20% MP) Blaze may now be used while running or rolling. Flame Touch is now usable when downed. ==Rudolf Update== Sword dance reworked: Now costs 25% MP, and temporarily summons a clone to attack as well. ==Julian Update== Updated Julian to have a skill for DvA and DvJ, as well as a Last Word. (For the people who use cheats and play as Julian I guess? ¯\(°_o)/¯) Double Punch (15% MP) Input method: D + v + A Punch forward while summoning a clone to punch in the opposite direction. Guard Stance (10% MP + ...) Input method: D + v + J Assume a defensive stance to block enemy attacks. Drains MP until cancelled with 'Defend' During the stance, press 'Attack' to kick nearby enemies (5% MP), or 'Jump' to temporarily become invincible (15% MP). **Last Word (A+J): Soul Barrage** Fires a spread of six Soul Bombs. ==Firzen Update== Added Last Word. **Last Word (A+J): Antarctic Firestorm** Explode out with the ultimate power of fire and ice. Stage 5 Update! Stage 5 is now playable. It will feature every character in the game, and a little surprise at the end ;D New custom map - The Matrix Fight within a virtual reality arena. Lets just hope you don't encounter any fatal errors... Misc updates: Woody may now use flip kick while down. Removed multiserver. Reduced Bokor's skull blast cast speed. Slightly reduced saturation of healing balls and healing effects from John's Heal Divergence A for both self and others. Added a visual effect to Asche's run attack. Changed some of Asche's sound effects. Bugfixes:
Fixed a bug where John would automatically follow up with another spell when using Spell Divergence.

Hi again everyone! It's been a while since I've updated this, but not to worry, I am still working on it.... Lately I've been working on a rework and new system for John. Hope you like it! Other noteworthy updates include (finally) getting around to reworking LouisEX and Firzen to give them more moves, and various character updates! I'm too lazy to make a video for every single thing, so here's a wall of text instead. Maybe I'll come back and add in videos later, but for now, just download the thing already! xD Character changes: ==John Rework - Spell Divergence System== John will use a new "Spell Divergence" system. When casting certain spells, if 'Attack' or 'Jump' is pressed prior to the spell being completed, an alternate version will be used instead. Alternate versions may have certain advantages or disadvantages over the originals. Pressing 'Attack' will use Divergence A, 'Jump' will use Divergence B. If neither is pressed, the default version is used. Energy Blast (15% MP) Input method: D + > + A Divergence A: Multiple Energy Blasts Splits the energy blast into three, but reduces its range Divergence B: Retreating Energy Blast Borrow the force of the energy blast to retreat backwards. Heal (others) (70% MP) Input method: D + ^ + J Divergence A: Multi Heal Create multiple healing balls; however, each of them has reduced healing. Divergence B: Ranged Heal Fires a healing ball forward. Energy Shield (20% MP) Input method: D + > + J Divergence A: Ranged Energy Shield Fires the energy shield a short distance forward, but its duration is reduced. Divergence B: Energy Parrying Swings the staff around to block incoming attacks. Drains MP until cancelled by pressing 'Defend'. Energy Disk (50% MP) Input method: D + ^ + A Divergence A: Multiple Energy Disks Splits the energy disk into six, but greatly reduces its power and duration. Divergence B: Swift Energy Disk Hurls the energy disk ahead with great speed, but it loses the homing effect. Heal (myself) (70% MP) Input method: D + v + J Divergence A: Emergency Heal Reduces the cast time, but also reduces the healing amount. Divergence B: Greater Heal Increases the healing amount, but also increases the cast time. Levitation (20% MP + ...) Input method: D + v + A Levitates surrounding enemies into the air. Drains MP until cancelled by pressing 'Defend'. Staff hit (0% MP) Input method: D + J + A Hit the enemy at close range with the staff. **Last Word (A+J): Destructive Energy Shield** The pinnacle of defensive and offensive magic. Fires an energy shield forward that destroys everything in its path. ==Bart== Normal attacks will now shoot out a short range ball. Dirge for the Deceased delay increased. After a long delay, it will spawn 1 skull, followed by 3 more. Input method changed to D + > + J Ballad of Bats will no longer automatically continue. Press 'A' to spawn more bats. Input method changed to D + v + A Melody of Mana input method changed to D + J + A Added new skill: Sound Blast (8% MP + ...) Input method: D + > + A (+ A...) Fires a blast of sound which can inflict damage. Added new skill: A Song of Ice and Fire (30% MP) Input method: D + v + J Play a song which causes ice and fire to rain down upon the area. Added Last Word (A + J) - True Sonata of Eternal Death Play the most macabre song that levitates all enemies. Changed background of face picture. ==Asche== Burning Ash Blast may no longer be reflected once it has been ingited. Changed sound effects of Swirling Ash hitting. Changed sound effects of Self-Immolation. Changed Last Word - Rising Ash Draw upon the power of the subterranean underworld to burn the area around the nearest victim, causing an infernal pillar of ash to rise up and inflict massive damage. ==Moeyy== Changed sound effects of Clone Explosion. Added sound effects when being hit. Added sound effects to Fade. The sound effect differs if used while injured. Changed sound effects when a clone disappears. ==Janice== Frozen Starfall will no longer hit frozen enemies. Frozen Starfall now actually look like stars. Added a visual effect when casting Frozen Starfall. Changed sound effects of Angel's Blessing. Changed background of face picture. ==Richie== Wind God's Knife's Detonate: Whirlwind is now yellow. Ultimate Weapon's Detonate is now also yellow. Changed sound effects of Wind God's Knife D>A when hitting. ==Rudolf== Veil of Swords now costs 20% MP to activate. Cost of maintaining it increased. Added Last Word - Mass Shadow Clones Create a massive amount of clones. Note: Using this skill will end Hide, if it is currently in use. ==Louis== Added sound effects to Absolute Defence Absolute Defence now costs only 15% MP at the start, and can only be maintained for up to 2 seconds. Area of effect of the 'blocking' reduced, to more accurately fit with Louis' normal hitbox size. It will now also reflect most projectiles. ==Davis== Wpoint added to Speed Punch. Speed punch now costs 15% MP. Can press A after use for a second punch for 10%MP. Visual effects improved. Replaced Blast Strafe (D + v + J) to a new skill: Dragon Blast (40% MP) Input Method: D + v + J Fires a power dragon to the front. ==Woody== Fixed bug where Energy Blast would prematurely end. Added new skill: Final Energy Blast (15% MP) Input method: Energy Blast + A A finishing move for Energy Blast, a more powerful Energy Blast. ==Firzen== Added new skill: Fusion Blast (8% MP) Input method: D + > + A Fires a blast of energy that may either freeze or burn opponents. Added new skill: Fusion Sword (20% MP) Input method: D + v + J Create a sword with the power of fire and ice. Added new skill: Firzen Kick Input method: D + v + A A kick with the power of ice and fire. Press A to follow up into superpunch. ==Louis EX== Added new skill: Phoenix Whirlwind (60% MP) Input method: D + ^ + J Summons a whirlwind which burns enemies. Added new skill: Phoenix Flame (30% MP) Input method: D + v + J Punch the ground and cause fire to erupt. Added new(?) skill: Thunder Punch (6% MP) Input method: D + > + J Added new skill: Phoenix Fireball (20% MP) Input method: D + ^ + A Hurls up a fireball that seeks out and descends upon enemies. Added new skill: Phoenix Wave (25% MP) Input method: D + J + A After charging for a moment, slash while releasing two waves of energy. Added Last Word (A+J): True Phoenix Dance A powerful dance which unleashes various divine abilities of the Phoenix. Others:
Reduced file sizes. Visual changes to menu backgrounds. Various minor changes to stage 5, still work in progress. Removed advertisements. (They can be re-added in by enabling updates, if for some reason you miss them.) Bokors will now no longer block attacks while using skull blasts. Separated the character movelist into a different text file. |
