Asches LF2 Mod Specific Terms
List of terms exclusive to my mod
Magic Orb - Single use orbs which allow the user to cast a spell. They are picked up and activated with the 'attack' key, just like any other item. Magical Item - Items imbued with magical power. Most of them can be used as ordinary weapons, or thrown to activate their power. Trait - Some characters may have traits. These traits may passively grant benefits or demerits to a character. Examples of traits include granting the ability to backflip even when burned, attacking faster when a weapon is equipped, or taking longer to recover from injuries. Common TermsList of terms common to all variants of LF2, including the original
BDefend - "Break Defend". Each attack inflicts a certain amount of BDefend, and a defending character has their defense broken if they accumulate a total of 40 BDefend. A defender's accumulated BDefend is reduced by 1 per TU. Dance of Pain (DoP) - When a character has been injured to the point that they look like they are "dancing" in pain. Allows the attacker to grab the victim by walking into him. Dark HP - The portion of HP that is shown in dark red (or grayish in my mod). It is not actual HP, but rather, the maximum amount of HP that may be recovered over time or with healing spells. When taking damage, some damage is dealt to dark HP as well as actual HP. Only milk can recover HP beyond dark HP. Fall - Each attack inflicts a certain amount of "fall". Upon accumulating a total of 40 fall, a character will go into DoP, and at 70 fall, a character will fall. A victim's accumulated fall is reduced by 1 per TU. MP - Resource required for performing most skills. Regenerates over time. The lower your HP is, the faster your MP will regenerate. Time Unit (TU) - 1/30 of a second. It is the smallest unit of measurement of time used within the game. |
